How does it work?

The Coffee Box is a Premium Coffee subscription box. By signing up, you are registered into an international journey of coffees that are delivered to your door.  Our coffees, imported from over 7 countries, are masterfully roasted in Montreal, packaged and shipped to you.  The objective of our subscription box is to introduce you to different roasts of coffee beans that bring out different flavors, hints and aromas from coffees originating from different corners of the world. 

Your subscription includes 2 packages of coffee, shipping and any taxes. 

Our products are 100% natural and organic, free of allergens like Gluten and Soy and are processed with the utmost care.

Do you make the products yourself?

For sure! All our coffees are imported green, which means that we are responsible for sorting the beans, washing them in an all natural process, roasting them, grinding them (upon request) and packaging them.  Nothing is done by 3rdparty companies.  Our roasters do it all, with passion, in Montreal Canada.

Is it possible to buy only one box, without subscribing?

You need to subscribe in order to get your box, however you can cancel your subscription after only one month.

I want to offer a subscription as a gift, is it possible?

Of course! You can contact us by email at info@thecoffeebox.co and we will happily assist you in setting up a gift-subscription. Please note that the minimum purchase is three (3) months and that a one-time payment will be required. The boxes will be delivered every month until the subscription expires, after which the deliveries will stop automatically.

Do you accept returns?

Unfortunately, since what we sell is perishable, we don’t accept returns. However, if you are not entirely satisfied with your order, please contact us and we will do everything we can to satisfy you.

Subscription

Do I have to commit to anything when subscribing?

No! The only thing you are signing up for is to receive deliciously roasted, premium coffee to your doorstep.  If you want to postpone your subscription, you can do so by skipping a month.  Do this prior to our closing date and you're good!

Is it possible to receive more than one box?

You can only have one subscription per email. However, you can fill your box with as many products as you want and you can even choose to receive your box every two (2) weeks instead of every month.

When will you bill my credit card?

It all depends on when you subscribed. For example, if you subscribed on the 17th day of the month, your next payment will be on the 17th day of the following month. We will send your box 2-4 days after receiving the payment. You can always modify your billing date by delaying shipments or by adjusting your shipping frequency in your Account.

Shipping

How are the boxes delivered?

The delivery is made everywhere in Canada by Canada Post and in the United States by USPS.

When do you send the subscription boxes?

We ship two times per month. Between the 15-17 and the 25-27 of the month.  When you subscribe, you will fall under one of the 2 delivery dates and you will be notified accordingly.

What is the estimated delivery time for an order?

For all orders delivered within Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes, allow 2 to 5 business days for delivery. For all orders shipped to Western Canadian Provinces and the U.S., allow 5 to 10 business days for delivery.

What happens if no one is home at the time of delivery?

Canada: if the delivery person from Canada Post cannot leave the package in a secure location, they will leave a card in your mailbox, with which you will be able to pick up the package at the closest post office.

United States: the UPS delivery person will try to deliver the package for three (3) consecutive days before leaving a card that will allow you to pick up the package at the nearest UPS Store.

Can I swing by your offices to pick up my box?

Unfortunately not. Although we love guests, due to sanitation reasons, we cannot allow visitors to our facility. 

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is always free! If you added items to your monthly subscription, only the price of these items will be added to your bill.

Is it possible to track the shipment?

Yes. When the package leaves our facility, a tracking number becomes available. You can find it in your Account under Orders, by clicking on “View order details”, and then on the tracking number.

What is the best way to enjoy my coffee?

The best way to enjoy your coffee is to grind the amount you need for your brew, so that your coffee is always fresh.  However, if you do not have a grinder and request ground coffee, the best way to keep your coffee fresh is to keep it in an airtight container.  This will ensure that your coffee is at its peak for a long time.

What is the quantity of coffee I receive?

Your subscription includes 2 bags of 0.75 lb each, (340g each) regardless if its ground or in bean. 

I am allergic to an ingredient, what should I do?

Please advise us of a specific allergen so we can verify if you can consume our product safely.
